Open Mic Night was AWESOME!
We will be having a short piece appear in the school newspaper when ever it is published, likely to be the following:
Our first Open Mic was a success! We had 24 performances, 3 teachers included. The broadcast journalism class and Mr. Pruitt received many good comments on their work getting it set up. “I was truly amazed…at open mic night…our students were respectful… (They) exemplify character in all that they do,” is our principles reaction, he would also like to thank Ms. Ash, Mr. Pruitt and his second period for making it happen. Open Mic now has a website, mhsbj.blogspot.com and click the Open Mic link, there is no "www." at the beginning of the web address.

We would like to thank everyone who came out, especially our performers. Also we would like to thank the administration for letting us hold an Open Mic and for their support.
